Petaling Street’s famous roast duck stall operator, Sze Ngan Chye, has set up a restaurant in Kepong. Air-conditioned, it is crammed with marble-topped tables and dark four-legged stools of Chinese design. One wall is adorned with a mammoth picture of Sze Ngan Chye brandishing a cleaver. The menu lists a variety of noodle and rice dishes, accompanied by a choice of roast duck, BBQ pork and roast pork. Having eaten here a few times, I recommend sticking to the roast duck -– its crispy skin hugging succulent, tender meat -- as the other meats are so-so. The location of the restaurant is rather secluded so parking is fairly easy. Rating: 3.5/5.
