Tasty yong tau foo is not confined to eateries in Ampang nowadays but can be found is several places in Kuala Lumpur. In Kepong's Bandar Manjalara, yong tau foo costs only RM1 per piece at Restoran Yong Tou Foo Chan Chan. More importantly, the fare's a delight to the palate. A variety of side dishes are also available such as pork-rib curry, sambal stingray, spicy prawns, and vinegar pig trotters to mention but a few. The restaurant is located at Jalan 11/62A, and is behind Kepong Village shopping complex. Unfortunately, the road sign has been plastered in its entirety with posters by pesky Ah Longs. Come early because it's always packed at meal times. Highly recommended.
