Sunday afternoon: My missus and I were in Ampang Point shopping complex and decided to try Gomonae, the Korean fast food restaurant, since its posters looked so tempting. We ordered a kimchi stew with rice and a chicken bulgogi ("bulgogi" literally means "fire meat"). Spicy and saltish, the kimchi stew failed to impress me; the chicken bulgogi was so-so. For me, trying to love Korean food is just like trying to adore Harisu. Good to see, no good to eat. For the uninitiated, Harisu (pixs above) is a Korean singer/model famous in her country, and is a sex-change transsexual.
