“Dangerous selfies are not worth the risk,” laments Mummy Lulu. “Don’t do them!”

“Oh no! Not again!” Mummy Lulu shakes her head. “First, it was Gigi Wu of Taiwan in 2019. Now, it’s Sofia Cheung of Hong Kong. Two pretty women who died tragically because of seeking publicity on social media.” She wags her gnarled finger. “Dangerous selfies are not worth the risk. Please don’t do them! Your life is more precious than the number of followers or ‘Likes’ you garner on social media.”

In January 2019,  Taiwanese hiker Gigi Wu (pixs above) – nicknamed Bikini Hiker -- fell into a ravine while climbing a mountain.  By the time rescuers found her, she had frozen to death in her bikini. On Monday, while posing for a dangerous selfie on a cliff near Yuen Long town in New Territories, Sofia Cheung (pixs below) slipped and plunged into a waterfall. An Instagramer with 6K followers, she was dead on arrival at the nearest hospital.
