"The old-order samurai despise and look down on money. They value honour and tradition more." -- Yukio Mishima (1925 - 1970)
Yukio was nominated three times for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1963, 1964 and 1965. On November 25, 1970, he took his own life at Ichigaya Camp by disemboweling himself and, as part of the suicide ritual, his head was cut off by a member of the Tatenokai, his private army.
