Hoho Steamboat Restaurant has five outlets in KL: Sri Petaling, Segambut, Manjalara, Genting Kelang and Kota Damansara. However, the standard varies slightly from outlet to outlet. The best is its HQ in Sri Petaling which takes up two shop lots -- one fan-ventilated and the other air-conditioned. Set for 2 persons is RM33.00. My extra order of crab roe is RM24 -- not worth the price. Service can be improved as the Bangladeshi waiters are always bustling around and catching their attention demands a loud "Hallo!" Nevertheless, I rate the HQ 8/10 for quality of food. Steamboat aficionados may also like to prowl around Taman Usahawan and Laman Rimbunan in Kepong which has at least 10 steamboat eateries.
